ITINERARY — Annapolis, Baltimore & Maryland's Eastern Shore B, L, T, D=Breakfast, Lunch, Formal Tea, Dinner. This sample Itinerary is subject to change. Day 1: Were off on an all new adventure, with your Seniortours escort is on board the video-equipped motor coach for fun, "open bar" refreshment, and entertainment-compliments of Seniortours. We're bound for Baltimore's famous Inner Harbor, where your included Water Taxi Pass is good for unlimited all-day service for all landings - including Aquarium, Harbor Place, Fells Point, Science Center, Rusty Scupper, Harbor East, Fort McHenry and more! During the day, take in the Aquarium with it's Dolphin Show (admission is included), enjoy the scenic Water Taxi from place to place, or just wander through the Harbor Side area. The area boasts a multitude of restaurants, so enjoy lunch on your own. In the late-afternoon, we'll board our motor coach for the ride toward Annapolis, MD, and check-in at our area hotel. A splendid dinner is in store for us this evening. DDay 2: After breakfast, we'll board the motor coach for the ride across the Chesapeake Bay and down Maryland's picturesque coastline to the quaint village of St. Michael's. St. Michaels is the center of a unique and magical water world on Maryland's fabled Eastern Shore, about halfway between the Susquehanna source and the Atlantic mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. With her lovingly restored homes and shops welcoming us to take a step back in time, we'll experience the soul of what was once a thriving Colonial Village. We'll enjoy an unforgettable luncheon here with a spectacular harbor view (our main meal of the day) and have a chance to stroll the historic streets and visit St. Mary's Square Museum as well as a shop or two. INCLUDING a stop for wine tasting at a local winery! We'll return to Annapolis with time to enjoy the exciting waterfront downtown area, prior to dinner. B, L, D Day 3: After breakfast we'll enjoy and "up-close-and-personal" view of Annapolis with our own local step-on guide. This afternoon will find us at the U.S. Navel Academy, for a guided tour of this history-laden campus, with lunch available on, or adjacent to the picturesque campus. A fine Chesapeake Dinner (a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet) is served tonight! B, D Day 4: After breakfast, we're off to the docks, to board our sightseeing "schooner" for an interesting and entertaining sightseeing cruise on Annapolis Harbor. And then, it's "farewell, Annapolis" for the ride homeward. But the fun's not over yet! En route, we'll be stopping off to sample some of Maryland's tastiest wines at one of the Eastern Shore's most well-regarded wineries. Our scheduled arrival back home will be in the late afternoon, early evening. B This custom tour requires 38 passengers minimum to operate. Please note that due to restrictions on boat ride, tour is limited to a maximum of 49 passengers. |
