ITINERARY—Nantucket & Cape Cod!

B, BL, D=Breakfast, Dinner.  This sample Itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1: A warm seabreeze beckons—It’s SeniorTours time on Nantucket & Cape Cod!  Stretch out in the deluxe motorcoach!  Your escort is on board to help make the ride very special.  En route, we'll host fun, games, cocktails, juices, soft drinks and snacks...all compliments of Seniortours.  Riding through the New England countryside, we'll arrive late afternoon at our hotel in the heart of the Cape, and be greeted by a traditional Cape Cod Lobster/clambake "with all the fixin's".  Steak may be substituted for lobster, for you land-lubbers! D

Day 2: A New England breakfast greets us this morning!  Today, we'll take a "mini-cruise" to the Island of Nantucket.  With a history that dates from 1659, you can't help but enjoy strolling its cobblestone main street, small lanes, plain Quaker-style homes and handsome houses that date from the whaling days of the early 19th century.  After a 2-hour ferry ride, we'll arrive in Nantucket.  Our luggage will be taken directly to the Inn while we board comfortable mini-coaches for an exciting 90-minute Island tour including the quaint village of Siasconset.  After lunch (on our own) at one of Nantucket's many restaurants we'll enjoy a guided tour of the Whaling Museum.  Originally built as a candle factory in 1847, this historic building is full of whaling instruments (harpoons, lances, bailers, skimmers), a whaleboat, intricate scrimshaw and ship models.  Free time for shopping, sightseeing and enjoying the Inn.  Unpack, swim in one of the Inn's indoor or outdoor pools, take in the health and fitness area, or just relax and luxuriate in the bracing sea air.  Tonight's dinner will be followed by and evening of Bingo. B, D

Day 3: A full American Breakfast is served in the Inn's Restaurant.  Today we'll have free time to explore downtown Nantucket on our own, with an included History Pass to Nantucket.  Historic Nantucket is a collection of eleven buildings throughout the town which are owned by the Nantucket Historical Association.  Together, they portray how islanders lived and worked as Nantucket developed from a small farming community, to the center of America's whaling industry and eventually, an important resort.  Enjoy lunch at your leisure - Afternoon is free for shopping, sightseeing or relaxing.  This evening, we'll enjoy a Farewell Dinner at the Inn. B, D

Day 4: Enjoy a Full American breakfast in the Inn's restaurant.  We'll have free time for last-minute shopping or exploring historic Downtown Nantucket.  At noon, we'll board the ferry to Hyannis with a complete box lunch provided by the Inn.  A little over 2 hours later, we'll arrive in Hyannis after a restful cruise.  Our motorcoach awaits!  We'll say 'bye to the Cape and begin our ride to Connecticut, with a dining and gaming stop at Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods Casino.  After tempting "Lady Luck" tonight, we'll continue to our nearby hotel. B, BL, D

Day 5: After a final hearty breakfast, we'll board our coach for our ride home.  More fun 'n games on board as we head toward "home-sweet-home".  Lunch and rest-stops en route, with our estimated arrival in the late afternoon. B
