ITINERARY—Mardi Gras on the Gulf Coast of Alabama & Florida!

B, L, D=Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.  Some breakfasts may be "Full American" or “healthy start” with cold cereal, fruit, juice, beverage.  This sample Itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1: We depart from your location, and the party begins!  Your SeniorTours escort rides with you to host fun, games, complimentary cocktails, beverages, snacks and entertainment on board!  Today’s ride takes us into the vicinity of Richmond, VA, our overnight stop today. D

Day 2: After breakfast, more fun, games, and good times on board the motor coach as we continue southward into the vicinity of Atlanta, GA. B, D

Day 3: This afternoon, we arrive at the one of the premier, beachfront resort hotels on the Gulf of Mexico.  Our “home-away-from-home” for the next 4 nights is located directly on the soft, white sandy beach overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf.  Breathe deep and take in the bracing sea air!  After dinner, you’re free to enjoy the many pleasures of the hotel and beach. B, D

Day 4: After breakfast we’ll ride eastward down the Gulf Coast into Florida to tour - we’ll visit Pensacola’s Historic Districts with our own local expert guide.  We’ll also tour the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Pensacola Naval Air Station, with many exhibits devoted to World War II.  A wonderful dinner rounds out our day. Day 5: “Fat Tuesday” - Feb 5th!  We're off to Mobile, considered the “Mother of Mardi Gras” (long before New Orleans, Mobile began this fun-loving festival).  Today we’ll enjoy the all pageantry, color, and family-oriented, fun of Mardi Gras—the way it’s been celebrated for 130 years!  We’ll enjoy dinner at our leisure after we experience the excitement of the day! B, D

Day 6: A leisurely morning to savor the many pleasures of your beach resort.  Enjoy the expansive sugar-white beach, the resort’s indoor/outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, saunas and fitness spa, take a nature walk or enjoy optional golf on one of 9 championship courses.  This afternoon we'll enjoy a "Dolphin Watch" cruise on the Gulf of Mexico. B, D

Day 7: Bye, Gulf of Mexico!  After breakfast we begin our ride northward, bound for the Atlanta, GA, area. B, D

Day 8: The good times continue, with Bingo, fun, games, refreshments, SeniorTours Style!  We'll ride into scenic Southwestern VA. B, D

Day 9: More fun laughter and friendship, as we continue our journey homeward, filled with fond memories of great times. B
