ITINERARY— Florida’s West Coast

B, L, D=Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.  Some breakfasts may be “healthy start” with cold cereal, fruit, juice, beverage.  This sample Itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1: We're off! Stretch out in the SuperBus!  Our first night's lodging is Roanoke Rapids, NC.  Throughout our trip, we'll make frequent comfort stops, arriving fresh and relaxed.  Your escort is on board to help make the ride very special with fun, games, “happy hour” beverages, juices, soft drinks and snacks...all compliments of Seniortours.

Day 2: More fun & games as we roll merrily southward, with Georgia on our minds. B

Day 3: We arrive in Fort Myers area this afternoon, and check into the Fairfield Inn by Marriott (or equivalent), our home for the next 6 nights.  After we have a chance to freshen up, a “Welcome to Florida” dinner is served! B, D

Day 4: A narrated cruise on the picturesque Caloosahatchie River is planned today.  Lunch will be served. B, L

Day 5: An easy drive down the coast to posh Naples this morning.  We'll enjoy a boat cruise past the millionaire's mansions, and also have ample time to explore Tin City with its many waterfront shops and restaurants.  Our memorable day ends with another seacoast dinner. B, D

Day 6: The real Florida!  Today, we’re off to the Babcock Wilderness Adventure at the Crescent B Ranch.  Our guided “Swamp Buggy” wilderness tour takes us through cypress swamps and piney flatlands to get a glimpse of the Florida backwoods inside the 90,000 acre ranch.  Watch for the ‘gators! B, D

Day 7: After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Thomas Edison winter home and Museum.  We’ll also visit “Mangoes” the 3 1/2 acre riverfront home of his friend and neighbor, Henry Ford.  Relax and freshen up at our hotel before dinner. B, D

Day 8: A day on Sanibel and Captiva Islands, rated among the world’s top 5 beaches for shell collecting!  Bring your camera, binoculars, and even a swimsuit if you’d like to get wet!  Shopping and/or the beach—the choice is yours!  Another wonderful dinner is served! B, D

Day 9: After our stay on the Gulf has warmed our bodies and souls, we bid farewell and travel northward past Tampa to our overnight stop in the Brunswick, GA area. B

Day 10: On the road, with more good times on and off the SuperBus, as we ride north to Roanoke Rapids, NC. B

Day 11: Home again, with a late afternoon arrival. B
