ITINERARY—Highlights of the Rockies! 22 MEALS INCLUDED, a delicious combination of Breakfasts, Lunches, and Dinners. Breakfasts may be “healthy start” with cold cereal, fruit, juice, beverage. This sample Itinerary is subject to change. Day 1: We're off! Stretch out in the SuperBus as we ride westward. Our first night's lodging is in the area of Hudson, Ohio. Throughout our trip we'll make frequent comfort stops, arriving fresh and relaxed. Your escort is on board to help make the ride very special. En route daily, we'll host fun, games, free cocktails, juices, soft drinks and snacks...all compliments of Seniortours. Day 2: More fun ‘n games as we ride merrily westward into the suburbs of Chicago. Day 3: Through rural Wisconsin, en route to our destination, the Mall of America, the world’s largest with over 400 stores, 20 restaurants and an indoor park. Day 4: More good times as we ride through North Dakota's wild landscape. We’ll have lunch in rugged Fargo prior to our arrival this evening in Bismark, ND. Day 5: We head north into the Province of Saskatchewan and our overnight destination, the Western town of Wolf Point, Alberta. Day 6: The wild and wooly casino town of Medicine Hat, Alberta is our destination tonight. Hope Lady Luck is smiling on you if you wish to try your luck at the casino! Days 7, 8 & 9: The next 3 nights, we’ll enjoy the majesty of the Canadian Rockies. Local touring will include Lake Louise, Peyto Lake, Sulfur Mountain (with gondola ride to the top!), the Icefields Parkway and, of course, the Sno-Coach ride on the Athabasca Glacier. Don’t worry—there’ll be plenty of time for leisurely sightseeing and shopping on posh Banff Avenue! We’ll also have time to experience the grandeur of Canada’s National Parks, including Banff and Yoho National Parks. Days 10 & 11: A scenic drive brings us back into the U.S.A., with today’s touring highlighted by a visit to our own Glacier Nat’l Park. Comfortable accommodations will be provided at East Glacier Lodge. Another highlight as we board our “jammers” and experience one of North America’s most scenic and famous drives, the Going to the Sun Road”. Day 12: Our drive takes us eastward through rugged mountains and plains of Montana, into Glasgow! Day 13: Today we enjoy Theodore Roosevelt Nat’l Park, and one of Teddy’s favorite places in the world. We’ll be spending the evening in the small town of Jamestown, ND. Day 14: Through the hills, valley’s and lakes of Minnesota today, and into the friendly community of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, our destination this evening. Let's try our luck at the casino tonight! Day 15: Past the State Capital of Madison and historic Rockford, Illinois. Tonight finds us close to Gary, IN. Day 16: An enjoyable ride eastward to tonight's destination near the Ohio/Pennsylvania boarder. Day 17: Filled with memories, we ride homeward, with an early evening arrival scheduled. |
