Day 4: En route to the Gulf Coast, we'll pause to visit Mobile's colorful Bellingrath Gardens, all abloom in springtime finery.  Later this afternoon, we arrive in romantic New Orleans.  Our home for the next 4 nights is the wonderful Country Inn New Orleans French Quarter - a hotel with a New Orleans boutique atmosphere and a lobby reminiscent of a historic "French Quarter Carriage-way".  It's a perfect location, within an easy walk from the French Quarter, Harrah's Casino, and the Riverwalk..plus, you have some of the city's best restaurants on the block.  Freshen up, then it's less than a mile to the Mississippi Steamboat Natchez where we'll enjoy a jazz dinner cruise with live band.  "Welcome to New Orleans"!  Upon our return, Harrah's Casino awaits, if you wish! B, D

Day 5: After breakfast, board your coach for a tour of "N'Orlins" with our own local expert guide riding our motor coach, taking in all the hot spots of this unique city.  Afterwards, we'll enjoy a walking tour of the French Quarter, followed by ample free time to explore Bourbon Street on our own.  Tonight, we dine in the French Quarter at Tujagues.  This famous restaurant has been serving since 1856 and is the second oldest restaurant in the city.  After dinner, we'll stroll down Bourbon Street, and stop for live entertainment and cocktails at 2 nightclubs (drinks included, of course - Love that Dixieland Jazz)!  We'll top off our evening the traditional way with cafe' au lait coffee and beignets at the Cafe' du Monde. Days 6: Today's activities include a swamp and airboat tour in Louisiana's moss-draped backcountry - an unforgettable Cajun adventure.  Later tonight we'll learn how to make dinner, Louisiana style, at the New Orleans School of Cooking - We'll have lots of laughs as we cook, and if you don't like your dinner - it's your own fault!
