glass-domed ceiling. In this garden is an antebellum-style
restaurant and waterfalls which flow into a winding river, which guests
can float through in a Delta River flatboat.

ITINERARY—OPRYLAND RESORT NEW YEAR B, L, D, E=Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Entertainment. Some breakfasts are “healthy start” with cold cereal, fruit, juice, beverage. This sample Itinerary is subject to change. December 29: We're off! En route, fun, games, complimentary cocktails, soft drinks and snacks, hosted by your Seniortours escort. We'll be pausing every 2-3 hours for comfort-stops and lunch, bound for tonight's stop-over in the Shenandoah Valley, near Harrisonburg, VA. DDecember 30: A late afternoon arrival in Nashville and our opulent lodgings at the world-famous Opryland Resort. Time to unpack and "refresh" before we enjoy a "sit-down" dinner cruise on the Cumberland River aboard "The Grandest Showboat in the World" the General Jackson paddlewheeler. Great fun! Great Food! After breakfast, we'll board
the motor coach for an entertaining tour of Nashville and its suburbs.
We'll drive by the famous "Music Row", and see the mansions of famous
country singers and stars, returning to our Opryland
January 1: Sleep in on this leisurely morning of 2009 and then enjoy a fabulous New Years day brunch, "Opryland-style" - what a spread! This afternoon you'll have free time to enjoy the many amenities of the Opryland Hotel-Explore 9 acres of lush indoor gardens, winding pathways, and sparkling waterfalls. Check out over 30 specialty shops and wide variety of restaurants and lounges. You can even take a relaxing, narrated flatboat ride through the tranquil delta courtyard! Or, if you wish, the Big Games on the big screen with fellow football fans in the hotel's sports bar, or hop on the free shuttle to Opry Mills! Gala New Year Brunch, D January 2: After breakfast, we're northward bound! More “happy hours“ and good times aboard the coach as we enjoy the ride through the rolling hills of Tennessee into Georgia. Dinner and comfortable overnight accommodations awaits in Harrisonburg, VA. B, D January 3: After a final southern deluxe continental breakfast, we’re off for home-sweet-home.
