ITINERARY—Vermont’s Brandon Inn New Year!

B, D=Breakfast, Dinner.  This sample Itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1: We’re off with your friendly Seniortours escort along to add to the festive Holiday spirit on board the deluxe motor coach.  During our ride northward, we’ll host complimentary cocktails, snacks, beverages, fun and games.  After lunch en route (on our own), we’ll prepare for our afternoon arrival in Brandon, the quintessentially Vermont “hometown”, and our own home-away-from-home for the next few days.  Upon your arrival you will be greeted with a Welcome Reception.  A gourmet dinner with all the trimmings is served in the dining room. D

Day 2: Have a hearty breakfast served in the Inn’s quaint Wicker Room.  This morning we’ll board the coach with our local guide for a trip to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, where we’ll enjoy a guided tour to see how our furry friends are made.  Next we travel to the city of Burlington, VT, for their First Night Celebration that welcomes people of all ages to the downtown streets, which are alive and aglow with continuous entertainment, arts and crafts.  Enjoy the sights and sounds of theater, magic, music, dance and comedy, all included in our visit.  We return to the Inn to get ready for tonight's party.  This evening, we’ll enjoy great food, music and dancing with a New Year’s Eve Dinner in the Main Dining Room and live music throughout the evening.  We’ll usher in the New Year with a champagne toast at midnight!  "Happy New Year!" B, D

Day 3: Let’s “sleep in” this morning, and enjoy a leisurely breakfast beginning at 9 AM.  Today, we’ll visit the Killington Ski Resort, where we’ll enjoy a gondola ride to the summit where we can enjoy lunch on our own along with spectacular views of Vermont in all of its winter splendor.  (We’ll arrange an optional 1-hour snowmobile adventure at Killington for an additional fee for any brave souls who would like to try something very different)!  Along our journey home to Brandon, we’ll visit the New England Maple Museum where we’ll hear about the history of maple sugaring and enjoy some shopping.  This evening we’ll enjoy another four course dinner served at the Inn, followed by light entertainment in the Brandon Inn’s living room. B, D

Day 4: Breakfast is served at the inn before departure.  Please have your luggage outside of your room before going to breakfast.  Filled with the spirit of the New Year, we’ll say “bye” to the Brandon Inn and board our motor coach.  More fun, games and complimentary beverages and snacks as we head southward.  Arrival is scheduled for early evening (depending on drop-off location).
