Day 1: We’re off with your friendly Seniortours escort along to add to the festive Holiday spirit on board the deluxe motor coach.  During our ride northward, we’ll host complimentary cocktails, snacks, beverages, fun and games.  After lunch en route (on our own), we’ll prepare for our afternoon arrival in Essex, the quaint, yet chic Vermont village, and our own home-away-from-home for the next few days.  Nestled in the panoramic Green Mountains, The Essex provides the most gracious hospitality among Burlington Vermont hotels.  As Vermont's only AAA four-diamond resort, we're also home to the prestigious New England Culinary Institute.  Upon our arrival you will be greeted by your local guide and staff with a Red Carpet Welcome.  Cookies and cider are served upon your arrival at the inn.  Tonight we enjoy a get acquainted dinner served at the inn. Day 2: After a hearty breakfast, we board the coach for a visit to Dakin Farms (Vermont's Tastiest Attraction) where we'll learn about the production of their gourmet meats and cheeses and sample many of their fine products.  Enjoy lunch and shopping on your own at the historic Church Street Marketplace.  This afternoon we enjoy a two feature performances at the Flynn Theater as part of First Night Burlington.  Tonight get ready for an evening of festivities starting with a Wine and Cheese Reception followed by a delicious five course dinner featuring entertainment for your dancing pleasure.  We'll usher in New Year's with a champagne toast at midnight!  "Happy New Year!" Day 3: A late morning breakfast is served today at the inn.  Today we travel to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill where you can enjoy shopping and sampling of their fine apple products including their delicious cider.  Enjoy some free time in the charming village of Stowe for lunch and shopping on your own.  This afternoon we tour past the Stowe Ski Resort and take a picture stop at the Trapp Family Lodge before returning to the inn.  Another wonderful dinner is served at the inn.
