ITINERARY—Smoky Mountain Combo B, L, D, S=Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Show. Some breakfasts may be “healthy start continental” with cold cereal, fruit, juice, beverage. This sample Itinerary is subject to change. Day 1: We're off! Stretch out in the video-equipped motor coach! Our first night's lodging is in Southwestern Virginia near picturesque Harrisonburg. Throughout your trip, we'll make frequent comfort stops, arriving fresh and relaxed. Your escort is on board to help make the ride very special, with en route fun, games, “happy hour” beverages, juices, soft drinks and snacks...all compliments of Seniortours.Day 2: More fun n' games today as we ride into the heart of the Smokey Mountains into Gatlinburg, Tennessee. What a location! The Greystone Lodge is smack dab in the center of town and near all the downtown activities! How about a steak dinner tonight? CtlB, DDay 3: After breakfast, today's touring includes a round-trip ride aboard the Ober Gatlinburg Tramway as well as admission to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Later, we'll have ample time on our own to explore the downtown area. After another fine dinner, we'll enjoy a live production at The Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre - a Smoky Mountain favorite for over two decades. CtlB, D, SDay 4: Keep the cameras close at hand as we tour through the picturesque Smoky Mountains National Park and ride into North Carolina. We'll pause to tempt "Lady Luck" at Harrah's Casino prior to our arrival in Asheville, NC. After you freshen up, put on your country duds and get ready for a great local barbeque along with enjoyable bluegrass music, dancing and singing along at The Fiddlin' Pig. CtlB, D, SDay 5: What a day! After breakfast, we're off to the Biltmore Estate, for a tour of the fabulous mansion, the colorful gardens, and the winery (wine tasting with free samples, of course)! Our main included meal today will be at the Biltmore's charming Deerpark Restaurant, originally an historic barn, now transformed into a courtyard restaurant with walls of windows, serving a generous array of Southern family-style dishes and Appalachian specialties. Enjoy! CtlB, LDay 6: Another delicious breakfast, and it's Goodbye" to the Smokies! The fun's not over yet! More entertainment, snacks, beverages, and good times aboard the coach, as we enjoy another pretty ride today. We head East through the dramatic hills and valleys of tobacco road, en route to our overnight stay near the Virginia boarder. CtlB Day 7: We're homeward bound, with more fun n' games en route. Filled with memories, we ride northward, with an early evening arrival home. CtlB |
