Vermont Senior vacation
THE HISTORIC BRANDON INN

Established in 1786, the Brandon Inn is now proudly listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Inn is truly a gem of antiquity. All of her 37 rooms are distinctly different, and decorated with a variety of antiques—but even nicer than they looked 100 years ago, 'cause now they even have "new-fangled" radios in each room! Located in the center of Brandon, the Inn overlooks the Village Green in what has been called "the last real Vermont town".

Day 1: We're off with your friendly Seniortours escort along to add to the 4th of July spirit on board the deluxe motorcoach. During our ride northward, we'll host complimentary cocktails, snacks, beverages, fun and games. After lunch en route, we'll prepare for our afternoon arrival in Brandon, the quintessentially Vermont "hometown", and our own home-away-from-home for the next few days. Upon our arrival you will be greeted by the staff with a Welcome Wine & Cheese Reception in the living room. A four course dinner is served in the main dining room. This evening relax and enjoy the amenities of the Inn or take a stroll through the quaint country town of Brandon. D

Day 2: Today, after breakfast in the Inn's Wicker Dining Room, we adjourn to the front porch to enjoy an old fashioned Vermont Independence Day Parade down Main Street. Directly across from the Inn on the Village Green, we'll enjoy a craft fair, some great bluegrass and country music, and lots of local, home-cooked goodies for lunch on your own. Another wonderful four-course dinner is served in the main dining room. This evening we'll enjoy the "All-American" fireworks display in the town of Brandon. B D

Day 3: A hearty breakfast is served this morning in the Wicker Dining Room. Later this morning, we board our coach for a visit to "Vermont's Tastiest Attraction", Dakin Farms, where we can sample some of Vermont's delicious food products. Later, we'll travel to the city of Burlington, where we'll have some free time for lunch and shopping at the historic Church Street Marketplace. This afternoon, we board the Spirit of Ethan Allen for a scenic narrated cruise of upper Lake Champlain. After our return to the Brandon Inn, another delicious dinner is served, followed by simple, home-spun, light entertainment at the Inn. B D

Day 4: Breakfast is served at the Inn before departure. Please have your luggage outside of your room before going to breakfast. Filled with the "Yankee Doodle" spirit of the holiday, we'll begin our journey back home. More fun, games and complimentary beverages and snacks as we ride through the countryside of Vermont and Upstate NY. Arrival is scheduled for late afternoon or early evening (depending on drop-off location). B
