ITINERARY-TULIP TIME IN HOLLAND, MICHIGAN

B, D=Breakfast, Dinner.  Most breakfasts are “healthy start” with cold cereal, fruit, juices, coffee and tea.  This sample Itinerary is subject to change by the Holland Tulip Fest.  Their final itinerary, including head-liner entertainment, show, etc. will be available by December 2008.

Day 1: We're off!  En route throughout our trip, fun, games, assorted snacks, cocktails, fruit juices, soft-drinks and refreshments are in store for us, hosted by your friendly Seniortours escort.  Today’s ride will take us through the rolling hills of Pennsylvania towards the PA/Ohio border, with dinner and comfortable accommodations in Eastern Ohio. D

Day 2: After breakfast, we depart across Michigan for Holland, and the 80th Anniversary of the "Tulip Festival", one of the "Top 100 Events" in the USA.  Afterward, a "down-home" dinner is served at a nearby local venue, followed by an enjoyable night of music, fun, and laughter at a live performance starring Bobby Vinton! B, D

Day 3: After Breakfast in our Hotel, we will enjoy a driving tour of Holland with our own local expert guide on board the bus to entertain and educate us about this fascinating area.  During our tour, we’ll view some of the 750,000 tulips adorning Holland’s parks and streets.  After lunch we visit the Dutch Village.  Dinner is served at a local favorite. B, D

Day 4: Following breakfast and a leisurely morning, we'll return to Holland where there will be time for shopping and lunch before the Grand Finale Muziekparade, The Festival’s main event, from 2PM to 4PM.  We will have Bleacher Seats to watch this spectacular parade, which represents the traditional ending of the Festival.  There will be some 50 bands and Floats, and Klompen Dancers along a 2.4 mile route.  Following dinner, later this evening, we'll continue our Tulip Festival fun with a performance of the "Shoe-Be-Do" Show, a Holland favorite. B, D

Day 5: After Breakfast, we will depart Holland and stay overnight in the Western Pennsylvania area.  Dinner included this evening. D

Day 6: After Breakfast, we head for home.  With more good times and good fellowship aboard the bus, we continue back to home-sweet-home. B
