ITINERARY—An Old Fashioned, All American Vermont Fourth of July!

B, D = Breakfast, Dinner included in tour price.  This sample Itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1: We’re off with your friendly Seniortours escort along to add to the 4th of July spirit on board the deluxe motor coach.  During our ride northward, we’ll host complimentary cocktails, snacks, beverages, fun and games.  After lunch en route, we’ll prepare for our afternoon arrival in Brandon, the quintessentially Vermont “hometown”, and our own home-away-from-home for the next few days.  Upon our arrival you will be greeted by the staff with a Welcome Wine & Cheese Reception in the living room.  A four course dinner is served in the main dining room.  This evening relax and enjoy the amenities of the Inn and town of Brandon. D

Day 2: Today, after breakfast in the Inn’s Wicker Dining Room, we adjourn to the front porch to enjoy an old fashioned Vermont Independence Day Parade down Main Street.  Directly across from the Inn on the Village Green, we’ll enjoy a craft fair, an old fashioned fiddle contest, and lots of local, home-cooked goodies for lunch on your own.  Another wonderful four-course dinner is served in the main dining room.  This evening we’ll enjoy the “All-American” fireworks display in the town of Brandon. B D

Day 3: A hearty breakfast is served this morning in the Wicker Dining Room.  Later this morning, we board our coach for the short and picturesque ride to Lake Champlain for a scenic and historical cruise aboard the m/v Carillon.  Following our cruise, we’ll travel to Fort Ticonderoga, across the lake in New York State.  Enjoy a guided tour by guides dressed in period attire of the historic Fort, soaking up the rich history of this living museum.  Lunch is on our own at the Fort.  After our return to the Brandon Inn, a 4-course dinner is served, followed by simple, home-spun, light entertainment in the hotel’s “living room”. B D

Day 4: Breakfast is served at the inn before departure.  Please have your luggage outside of your room before going to breakfast.  Filled with the “Yankee Doodle” spirit of the holiday, we’ll begin our journey back home.  More fun, games and complimentary beverages and snacks as we ride through the countryside of Vermont and Upstate NY.  Arrival is scheduled for late afternoon or early evening (depending on drop-off location).
